What is a model?
A model is a system trained on examples to recognize patterns and generate predictions or outputs. Different models work with text, images, sound, and other data. An AI app provides an interface to one or more models.

AI TRAINING & WORKSHOPS · CUSTOMIZED TO FIT YOUR NEEDS
Hands-on AI training for everyone—from your first AI conversation to building with AI.
Use your organization’s existing AI access, or let us prepare the workshop environment.
Put AI to work
Work through practical examples tailored to your goals—everyday tasks, business workflows, or scientific research. Help your team explore ideas, solve problems, and spend less time on repetitive work.
Keep people at the center—with sound judgment, verification, and continued development of your own skills.
No prior AI experience is required. Available online or in person, nationwide.
Start with the basics
Artificial intelligence is a broad term for computer systems that perform tasks such as recognizing images, working with language, or making predictions. Here are three ideas we’ll make practical together.
A model is a system trained on examples to recognize patterns and generate predictions or outputs. Different models work with text, images, sound, and other data. An AI app provides an interface to one or more models.
A large language model (LLM) is a type of model trained to work with language. It generates text from your instructions and the context you provide, helping with explanations, drafts, summaries, and code. Fluent answers can still be wrong, so checking matters.
An AI agent combines a model with tools and a process for carrying out a task over multiple steps. With permission, it might read files, analyze a spreadsheet, and prepare a report. You set the goal and boundaries, review its work, and approve consequential actions.
Two ways to get hands-on
Both options offer the same practical, interactive instruction. The difference is who provides AI access and how much technical setup we prepare.
Workshops can take place in a computer lab, or participants can bring their own laptops. We confirm internet access and any software requirements before the session.
Clear workshop pricing
Virtual and in-person workshops have the same base rates. Every workshop includes up to 15 participants.
| Training option | 3-hour workshop | Full-day workshop |
|---|---|---|
| Bring Your Own AI | $2,000 | $3,000 |
| AI on Us | $3,000 | $4,500 |
| Extra participant — Bring Your Own AI | $100 | $150 |
| Extra participant — AI on Us | $150 | $225 |
Each price includes up to 15 participants. Additional participant rates are shown above, up to 30 participants total. A full day includes approximately six hours of instruction plus scheduled breaks. Twice the instruction time for 50% more. AI on Us costs 50% more than Bring Your Own AI for the same duration and group size.
Travel beyond the included local service area, overnight stays, and custom technical requirements are quoted separately in advance. Groups over 30 can book multiple sessions or a customized presentation.
Plan your workshop
The estimate updates as you choose a duration, access option, and group size.
Estimated workshop total $2,000
Estimated per participant $133
Estimate only; not a purchase or confirmed booking. Applicable travel and custom requirements are quoted separately.
Practical skills
We connect familiar AI conversations to the tools, systems, and workflows teams can build with them.
Practice prompting, document analysis, research support, writing, reasoning, and checking AI-generated information.
See how agents work with files, applications, and software tools. Explore the difference between asking for an answer and delegating bounded, multi-step work.
Follow a real API demonstration. Learn about credentials, model selection, structured outputs, metered costs, and connecting AI with other applications.
Compare commercial hosted models with open-weight models. Discuss privacy, performance, cost, infrastructure, and capabilities. Remote testing does not reproduce local hardware performance or fully on-premises privacy.
Work through examples tied to your team’s interests and discuss where AI might help. The focus is on experimentation, not memorizing products.
Cover verification, hallucinations, confidential data, limitations, permissions, security, cost controls, and appropriate human oversight.
Different work. Tailored examples.
Choose a starting point or combine topics. No track requires prior technical experience.

A hands-on teaching approach
Our workshops are built around participation. We demonstrate practical applications, explain essential concepts, and then give participants opportunities to try things for themselves.
Bring your questions, ideas, and real problems. We’ll help you explore what AI can accomplish, what it cannot reliably do, and how to take a next step. Training is adjusted to your group’s experience, interests, and technical environment.
Nationwide delivery
Both training options are available virtually or on-site. We confirm access, compatibility, and logistics before the workshop.
AgenticForge Labs is headquartered near Knoxville, Tennessee. Travel within 100 miles is included when no overnight stay is needed. Beyond that range, applicable travel costs are quoted in advance and included in your proposal.
Depending on destination, a quote may include mileage or economy airfare, lodging, ground transportation, parking, tolls, reasonable meals, and a disclosed travel-day charge for substantial travel. Multi-day or combined sessions can make longer trips more useful.
Frequently asked questions
No. Workshops can be adapted for first-time users, mixed-experience groups, or advanced technical teams.
Not for AI on Us. For Bring Your Own AI, participants use their organization’s approved accounts.
A laptop with internet access and any required institutional sign-in. We’ll send exact software and access requirements in advance.
Yes. Pre-workshop technical coordination is included, with additional environment preparation for AI on Us.
Yes, where appropriate. Exercises may use small local models or remotely hosted open-weight models. Remote testing helps evaluate quality and usability, but does not reproduce local hardware performance or fully on-premises privacy.
Up to 15 participants are included. For three-hour workshops, each additional participant is $100 for Bring Your Own AI or $150 for AI on Us. Full-day rates are $150 or $225 respectively. Workshops have a maximum of 30 participants, subject to technical requirements.
Yes. Training is available nationwide. Travel within 100 miles of headquarters is included when no overnight stay is needed; farther travel is quoted in advance.
Yes. We adapt examples to participant interests, experience, available tools, and organizational objectives. Extensive software development or integration is scoped separately.
Start with a workshop inquiry
After you send an inquiry, we’ll provide a short intake questionnaire, arrange a brief planning call, and then decide together on a workshop proposal and final logistics.
